Pure Green - Chaofeng Hyson Tea

This green leaf is known as Chaofeng Hyson, sometimes known as Dragon Tea, it comes from the more select young leaves, instead of the older leaves. that are so often used in green teas. These young leaves are found below the new growing shoots at the top of the tea bush and for this reason offer far better quality and taste.

During processing, the green tea leaves are rolled and twisted into shape. Chaofeng Hyson Green Tea comes from a particular tea garden in Anhui Province, China and is much better than most young Hyson.

This blend offers a bright green colour, aromatic scent, and slightly sweet taste, it is full of new spring green tea character and I thoroughly recommend it.

How to Brew:
Take a teaspoon per cup (2 for a mug). Heat freshly drawn water to about 80 degrees centigrade, infuse for no longer than three minutes and drink without milk.

Due to manufacturing processes, this tea may contain traces of: Cereals containing gluten, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soya, mustard and sulphur dioxide (>10mg/kg). (sulphur dioxide is used to preserve all dried fruits and prevents them spoiling).
