Shipping and Delivery Terms and Conditions

As all products are made to order we do not offer same day dispatch, we will make every effort to ship orders received within a maximum of 3 working days

ALL ORDERS ARE SHIPPED VIA ROYAL MAIL, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, A TRACKING NUMBER WILL BE SENT TO YOU TO ENABLE YOU TO TRACK YOUR ORDERS PROGRESS WHILE IN TRANSIT.

UK Deliveries
All orders, regardless of volume, will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48, there is a flat rate charge of £3.95 per order.

We anticipate that orders for delivery within the UK should be received within 2-3 business days from the DATE YOUR PARCEL IS SHIPPED, within England, Wales, Northern Ireland and mainland Scotland, it may take longer to deliver items to more remote areas. You will receive an email notification advising you of dispatch along with the Tracking Number. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee a delivery date. 

During busy periods please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be processed.

European Deliveries

£0 – £25.00 = £12.50, £25.01 – £50.00 = £15.00,  £50.01 – £100.00 =  £20.00, 

£100.01 - £200.00 = £35.00.

North America Deliveries  

£0 – £24.99 =£16.50   £25.00 – £34.99 = £21.50,

£35.00 - £49.99 = £25.00  £50.00 – £64.99 = £27.50, £65.00 - £79.99 = £30.00,

£80.00 - £99.99 =  £35.00, £100.00 - £149.99 = £37.50, 

£150.00 - £199.99 = £42.50, £200.00 - £249.99 = £50.00.

Rest Of World Deliveries               

£0 – £24.99 = £14.50,   £25.00 – £50.00 =£20.00, £50.01 – £100.00 =£25.00 

£100.01 - £149.99 = £35.00, £150.00 - £200.00 = £50.00.

We anticipate that orders for delivery outside of the UK should be received within 7-21 business days from the date your parcel is shipped. You will receive an email notification advising you of dispatch along with the Tracking Number. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee a delivery date. 

All shipping is sent via Royal Mail tracked services, once outside of the UK it is then handed over to the receiving countries postal service for onward transit.

At peak times, signatures will be required - except those countries where signatures via chosen local delivery services is not available.

If you would like Special or Guaranteed delivery, then please use the contact form or email us at info@rosieleatea.co.uk with your request and we can provide you with a quote. Please note, due to the ongoing effects of COVID-19 we are unable to offer special or guaranteed delivery at this moment in time.

 

DELIVERY TERMS

We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate as we cannot accept liability for an incorrect shipping address given. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been marked as delivered to the stated address.

Delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery date will be extended by a reasonable period and we may contact you to advise of any such delays. 

We do ship worldwide, but if your country is not included then please let us know. Whilst we take all reasonable care to conform with a specific countries import rules, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that there are no import restriction on dry tea products. Although we anticipate shipping time should be 5-7 working days for delivery, for more distant locations from the UK,  it could be anywhere up to 14-21 days due to logistics within the receiving country,

Returns & Refunds

We ask that you always check your orders as soon as you receive them. If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible via email - info@rosieleatea.co.uk.  You are entitled to the right to cancel your order with us within fourteen days of the receipt of your goods in exchange for a full refund (excluding shipping) providing it is for a non- perishable item. Any teas purchased cannot be refunded or exchanged due to the possibility of contamination once it has left our hands, unless the item has been received damaged.

All non perishable items must be returned in unused, undamaged condition in their original packaging.

Please dispatch all returns to: Rosie Lea Ltd. Camellia House, 17, Grange Road, Broadstairs, Kent. CT10 3EP, UK.

In case of cancellation and there is no fault with the product, items must be returned at the cost of the customer. If the item is returned due to damage and it is deemed damaged, the delivery charge will be refunded by Rosie Lea Tea.

We cannot accept liability for goods lost in the post.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EU CUSTOMERS

Please note, you will be charged import VAT on orders.  Any import taxes, duties and additional fees charged by your local postal service remain your responsibility and we cannot be held liable for these. Failure to pay these fees which results in the order being returned to us will not be eligible for refund of products shipped which are of a perishable nature. Please note we will NOT refund the cost of shipping for perishable or non-perishable products. 

Due to changes in EU regulations some countries within the bloc are at times rejecting exports of tea from the UK, for this reason we are no longer able to ship to these countries, these are as follows:

  • Czechia
  • Eire (Republic of Ireland)
  • Estonia
  • Italy
  • Lithuania
  • Portugal
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia
  • Sweden
  • We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.We are also aware that there are some delays in parcels clearing EU customs, unfortunately, this is out of our control.

    WE NO LONGER SHIP TO GERMANY 

    We have had to make the difficult decision to no longer ship to Germany. As of 1st July the German government are putting in to place new recycling regulations (LUCID) on ALL packaging used by any business. The charges that would be placed on us means that we are no longer able to justify the costs that this would entail for our small business. We are so sorry that we have had to make this decision.
