All About Tea
Green tea is simply the leaf that has been plucked from the tea bush, nothing at all added to it, no oxidation takes place so it keeps it’s green leaf colour; it is then dried, rolled and packaged into sacks ready for us to drink.
The green leaf is known as a supremely healthy tea. It should always be drunk without milk. The leaf is far more delicate than the black leaf so should always be brewed at no more than 80 degrees. any hotter and the leaf will burn so producing a very bitter cuppa.

Green Tea contains exactly the same amount of caffeine as black tea, as it is simply the same tea leaf just not oxidised, so please don’t believe stories that you may be told that there is less caffeine in a green tea!
